Michael Strecker takes part at the Electronic Displays
Conference 2010 in Nuremberg and presented a poster on the topic of
his diploma thesis on Carbon Nanotubes Deposited by Dielectrophoresis
for Thin Film Transistors. The paper is awarded with the third price of
the Robert Bosch Student Paper Award.

The newly released Unikurier features an article by Dipl.-Ing. Axel Schindler
on the LfBs research activities in the area of carbon nanotubes for
display applications. The carbon nanotubes are used as transparent
conductor and also as semiconductor in thin-film transistors.

Fruehauf was given a very warm welcome by Prof. Hirao, Prof. Furata and
their staff when he visited the Research Institute for Nanodevices at
Kochi Institute of Technology, Kochi, Japan from 07.-08.12.09. He
introduced the work of the LfB with a talk entitled "Chair of Display
Technology, Research and Development Competence".
